Are you planning a safari to Africa? Do you want to visit Zambia? If so, we recommend that you consider a Robin Pope Safari.
We recently enjoyed our third photo safari to Africa with our friends DeWayne and Llanda. The first trip was a self drive trip to Kruger National Park in 2015. In 2018, we returned to Africa for a 2 week guided safari, one week in Kenya and one week in Tanzania. This safari was purchased through Viator. That safari was through Gracepatt Safaris & Gracepatt Ecotours. They provided a great safari experience. I highly recommend them if you are headed to Kenya or Tanzania. Let us know and we will get you booked.
During these trips, DeWayne and Llanda always talked about inviting us to a Robin Pope Safari, but only when they thought we were really committed to Africa, whatever that meant. I can tell you now that it was well worth the wait. They cater to you at Robin Pope Safaris. They even provide daily laundry service so that you can pack fewer clothes and more camera equipment.
At the Nkwali Camp we had a great camp host, Soral. Our camp manager was Keke. He was also our guide. At the Luangwa River Camp, our hostess was Kim and our camp manager was Doudi. John was our guide. The facilities were great, the staff was great, the food was great. And of course, our guides were great as well. I will be writing another post for each of the two camps we visited.
To give you a feel for what we experienced, check out the videos below while I plan our return to Zambia to visit Nsefu and Tena Tena in a couple of years.
We have not visited the camps noted below, but they are on our list.
